High blood pressure has long been associated with heart disease and stroke...but now researchers are saying it can be a factor in the development of Alzheimer’s Disease. On today’s Health Show, we’ll bring in Dr. Stephanie Beling to talk about what you can do to fight this all too common problem. Stressing 9 To 5
Nothing like a little stress in your life to get that blood pressure rising. It’s been said that we spend one third of our lives working...and that can lead to a lot of stress. Reporter Rebecca Sheir recently spoke with University of Alaska Anchorage psychology professor Bruno Kappes about stress at the office…and visited two Alaska workplaces that were just named the most psychologically healthy in the state: Anchorage Women’s Clinic and Alaska Pacific University.
